Putting the Mission Into Motion

For the trust, 2007 was a year of moving from education to action. In 2008, we are bringing our first projects online- two sustainable hardwood tree farms and economic empowerment projects in Panama and India. Once these projects are running, the trust will begin working on food security projects in the U.S.. Both projects are joint ventures with a hardwood tree company and groups in each country.

Each project will offer the economic opportunities for the local economy and investment opportunities for investors.

Goals and Objectives

Sustainability Projects

For the first time in the history of humanity we are about to reach the point where our numbers are beyond the carrying capacity of our planet. This is proven out in collapse of fisheries, the loss of agricultural lands after decades of increases, the peaking of oil, the competition for fresh water, and so on.

Historically, living sustainably has never been part of this society's consciousness. This is now about to change, not because we want to but because we have to.

Food Security

In the coming years food security will be one of the most important challenges we face. Currently, ag production has peaked, the desertification of farm land is increasing, water supplies are being stretched, and global warming has created a large unknown.

Inspite of all the promises, biotechnology has not produced results and has threatened both the health of people and genetic diversity of our seed heritage.

Education & Information

As a resource, our site is designed to offer a systemic look at many of the issues and challenges we face. It is our intent to offer the unique perspective not always presented in the main stream media. We look at issues from a systemic view that is circular as compared to linear in nature.

Wealth Building

Understanding the challenges we face is the first step in preparing ourselves to financially navigate them. Currently, we are witnessing a financial system imploding after years of greed and abuse. The subprime housing market leading into the Alt-A and Prime market breakdown, the downgrading of bond insurers, collapse of the credit market, and banks needing to borrow hundreds of billions to remain solvent is just part of the systemic breakdown we are witnessing.

Our goal is to assist readers in understanding these challenges and providing resources to meet them.
